The Indiana Secondary Transition Resource Center (INSTRC) proudly presents a comprehensive webinar series to empower secondary special education teachers and administrators with the tools to create and continually improve Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Transition Portfolios.

Save the date and join us for an immersive learning experience that will not only guide transition-age students toward competitive, integrated employment, higher education, and independent living opportunities, but also foster their overall growth and integration within the community. 

  • Portfolios and Profiles: Portals to Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE)

February 20, 2024, 11–1 pm EST and 6–8 pm EST

Geared for a national audience, this webinar will show you how students can use positive personal introductions as a vehicle for the attainment of CIE and a means to facilitate community belonging and reach personal goals.

February 21, 2024, 11–1 pm EST and 6–8 pm EST 

Two sections: 

  • IEPs for Beginners—Explore the foundational elements of the IEP, strategies for alignment with student goals, and assessment processes that underpin successful postsecondary transitions. 
  • IEPs for the Experienced—Includes specific quality examples for each section of the IEP and strategies for using the transition IEP to strengthen relationships with students and parents.
