Resource Collections--For You!

Hopefully, you’ve now had a few minutes to take a look at the new Indiana Secondary Transition Resource Center (INSTRC) website. You haven’t?! Go check it out now: https://instrc.indiana.edu.

Today, we want to draw your attention to one of the navigation tabs across the top, that third one from the left that reads Resource Collections. Or click here:https://instrc.indiana.edu/resource-collections/index.html This is a new feature on the website. These are the “buckets” into which we’ve sorted some of our more popular resources.

For instance, let’s say you have a new teacher on staff. She or he might take a look at the resources in both Writing Quality IEPs and Professionals New to Transition. Need health resources specific to adolescents with disabilities? We’ve got ‘em!

The Resource Collections are also just a quick way to find the resources you use often. The new INSTRC gives you many ways to search—e.g., enter a topic into the search bar on the home page, click the video box on the Resource Search page, type the name of a resource into the search bar on that page, or find what you need in Resource Collections.

Happy exploring!
